We thought for this week we might highlight one of our better selling mugs and how you could use it to promote your business. The mug is our 350ml Uvas. It was introduced on our website about 3 years ago and has proven to be very popular ever since it was loaded to our site. There are a lot of things to like about this coffee mug.
Firstly it has straight sides which allow us to do a wrap print around the entire mug. The white outer allows for clean, crisp graphics to be printed. Many people opt to print the matching colour of the inner part of the mug. This helps tie in the design and looks great. The handle is easy to hold. It flares out so you can get a good grip on the mug, unlike some others where the grip is narrow and you are lucky if you can squeeze two fingers through. The inner coloured section gives a great contrast to the white outer and with six colours to choose from, there is one to match most brands.
The other great feature of this mug is not only can we pad print one side, do a screen wrap print around the entire mug, but we can also do a high fire decal. This means it will be dishwasher safe in regards to the logo. Many brands of dishwasher powders and tablets nowadays are much stronger and more abrasive than they used to be. I am sure you have seen the advertisements where they advertise to just put your dishes and pots in the dishwasher and don’t worry about all the scum or hard to remove parts, as the dishwasher powder will take care of it. It does do this, but with that added strength, it puts printed logos on mugs at risk. Most are printed on what we call the low fire and have been fine in the past to put through a dishwasher, but nowadays they need to be hand-washed. That’s where a high fire decal comes in. Whatever promotion you are doing, the last thing you want is for your logo or promotional message to come off the mug, so try a high fire decal and your problem is solved.
