Shaped wide and shallow, it's built for a cappuccino or short black rather than a tall drink, giving that reactive finish plenty of surface to show off. The vitrification process behind the scenes is what lets it go in the microwave without a second thought and stand up to a nonstop café shift without chipping or wearing thin. Pad print is the one part that needs looking after, so a hand wash rather than a dishwasher run keeps the branding from washing out early.

Reactive Glaze Variance. During production, the glaze on the Cassano Porcelain Cup reacts individually to heat, giving every piece its own pattern and slight colour variance. This artisanal, custom-made feel is a natural result of the firing process rather than a fault.
