Description

Brown isn't a flat, single tone on the Cassano Porcelain Mug 280ml, it's a reactive glaze that shifts and patinas differently across every mug as the glaze responds to heat during firing. The result sits somewhere between rustic and refined, an earthy finish that reads more handmade than mass produced. Underneath that variation is fully vitrified porcelain, tough enough for the daily demands of a working café or restaurant and safe to use in the microwave. Pad print is how branding gets applied, and although the porcelain body itself is commercial grade, hand washing is needed to protect the printed design from wearing off. Capacity comes in at 280ml, suited to a flat white, cortado or short black.

Reactive Glaze Variance. During production, the glaze on the Cassano Porcelain Mug reacts individually to heat, giving every piece its own pattern and slight colour variance. This artisanal, custom-made feel is a natural result of the firing process rather than a fault.
