Blush pink pastel is the base every Vellani Porcelain Cup starts from, but the reactive glaze layered over it means the finished pattern is never fully repeatable, one cup might show more patina in one spot, the next slightly different again. It's an intentionally youth-oriented, slightly edgy look rather than the flat consistency of standard glazed porcelain. The wide, short bowl shape favours a cappuccino or short black over a full sized drink, and the porcelain itself is fully vitrified, holding up to daily café and restaurant handling and rated safe for the microwave. Pad printing is how branding gets applied, and while the body copes with heavy commercial use, hand washing keeps the printed artwork from wearing away.

Reactive Glaze Variance. During production, the glaze on the Vellani Porcelain Cup reacts individually to heat, giving every piece its own pattern and slight colour variance. This artisanal, custom-made feel is a natural result of the firing process rather than a fault.
